It’s an extra special Saturday tomorrow because Sherri is teaching! Although she teaches many amazing classes throughout the week, Sherri rarely has the weekend free to teach at MGYS. You may not know this about her but in addition to being a certified yoga instructor she’s a bad#$! violist in the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra. Her schedule outside of the studio is pretty full BUT this weekend is the one exception in November and luckily she wants to share it with you — so please, do yourself a favor and go.to.class. 🙂
When I think of our team of teachers and their conduct both at MGYS and within our Nacogdoches community I am inspired to be a better person. We truly have an eclectic team of teachers at MGYS! Educated, experienced, caring, charismatic, intuitive, perceptive, receptive, and always willing and ready to teach from a place of compassion. Ready to teach YOU, our dedicated students of yoga – of life.
As Kasey said at the closing of one of the last classes I attended before leaving for India, “We are all in this together.” This has become one of my daily mantras.
Let’s practice, y’all. The lessons observed from the mat are accessible in our day to day lives. These lessons lend to our transformation and betterment as human beings.
Join Sherri and other MGYS Yogis on Saturday, won’t you? It’s THE place to be on Saturday am in Nacogdoches. <3
Sherri’s class was transformative. A more heat producing version of her healing gentle yoga class. Perfect for our first really chilly morning. I was last out (as usual) and we agreed your folks are doing a great job of keeping the home fires burning at MGYC. The studio looks great and the classes have been excellent. Rest easy and learn well. All is well.
Cele, thank you. <3 Words of reassurance brought some tears, a smile, and a pause for breath. For a moment I could feel the warmth of the studio and the chilly morning in downtown Nac. Missing you. With Love, Amy
