A Weekend of the Yoga Sūtras, Breath, and Living Wisdom with Tara Mitra

A Weekend of the Yoga Sūtras, Breath, and Living Wisdom with Tara Mitra

September 26-28th

Join Tara Mitra at Morning Glory Yoga Studio for a three-day immersion into the living heart of yoga, guided by the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali, traditional prāṇāyāma, Vedic chanting, and the foundational principles of Ayurveda. Each day offers a steady rhythm of personal practice, subtle teaching, and reflection grounded in lineage.

Mornings begin in stillness with seated prāṇāyāma and Vedic chanting, followed by Mysore-style Ashtanga—an open, supported space for individual practice with personalized guidance and intelligent adaptation.

Afternoon sessions explore key threads from the Yoga Sūtras, the dynamic influence of the guṇas in daily life, and the role of rhythm and orientation in sustaining practice. The weekend closes with a study and recitation of the Śānti mantras, revealing how sound becomes a path to inner clarity.

This workshop is open to sincere students and teachers of all levels, regardless of background or lineage.
