Rooted Within: A Weekend Journey of Self-Discovery and Authentic Living

Over four workshops, we follow a carefully designed arc that mirrors the natural unfolding of genuine inner transformation: from the clarity of self-knowledge, through the openness of self-acceptance and the warmth of self-compassion, to the freedom of authentic self-expression. Each workshop stands on its own, but together they form a complete and integrated journey into the heart of what yoga has always been about: knowing who you truly are, and having the courage to live from that place.

Open to all levels. Each workshop includes asana, meditation, and reflective practice. Please bring a journal, your mat, and an open heart.

Workshop 1 | Foundations of the Self: A Journey into Yoga and Self-Discovery

All lasting transformation begins with self-knowledge. This opening workshop draws on two complementary maps of human experience — the chakra system and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs — to illuminate the relationship between our physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. Through asana that deepens body awareness and meditation that trains attention inward, we cultivate the inner concentration that is the necessary foundation of self-knowledge. Because without knowing ourselves, self-control and authentic self-expression remain permanently out of reach.

Workshop 2 | As You Are: The Yoga of Self-Acceptance

What would it feel like to be completely at peace with yourself — not a future, improved version, but yourself as you are right now? In this workshop we cultivate the quality of the witness — that part of us that can observe breath, body, and mind without judgment. Moving through asana with soft, non-reactive attention and resting in meditation as simple, open presence, we practice the gentle and courageous art of seeing ourselves clearly — and meeting what we find with kindness. Self-acceptance is not the end of growth. It is where growth actually begins.

Workshop 3 | From Self-Judgment to Self-Love: A Yoga Workshop on Compassionate Living

We carry an inner critic so well practiced that its voice has become indistinguishable from our own. This workshop is an invitation to lay that burden down. Drawing on the yogic niyama of Santosha — the practice of contentment — we explore what it means to meet ourselves with compassion rather than criticism. Through nourishing asana, restorative pranayama, and loving-kindness meditation, we gently dismantle the habit of self-judgment and discover what has always been waiting underneath it: the simple recognition that we are, right now, worthy of our own love and care.

Workshop 4 | Unleashed: A Yoga and Creativity Workshop on Authentic Self-Expression

A self that is known, accepted, and loved is a self that is finally free to be seen. Drawing on Polyvagal Theory, we explore how nervous system safety is the prerequisite for authentic creative expression. Through asana and pranayama that activate the ventral vagal state — the physiological home of connection and creative flow — we create the inner conditions for genuine expression. From that open and regulated place we engage in mind mapping: a playful, non-linear tool for creative exploration that bypasses the inner critic and taps directly into intuition and imagination. No artistic experience required — only the willingness to let yourself be seen.

Cultivating Contentment Through Movement and Breath

Join us for Santosa: Embracing the Present Moment, a deeply enriching workshop designed to foster contentment and inner peace, inspired by the Sanskrit term Santosa, meaning complete contentment and acceptance of the present. This extended session blends gentle yoga poses, mindful movement, pranayama (conscious breathwork), guided meditation, and visualization to help you cultivate a profound sense of presence and harmony within.

Through carefully crafted asana sequences, you’ll explore intuitive movement, listening to your body’s natural signals to release tension and foster balance. Pranayama practices will guide you to harness the power of breath, calming the mind and energizing the body. Our guided meditation and visualization exercises will invite you to let go of external distractions, connect deeply with your inner self, and embrace the moment with clarity and ease. Drawing on the yogic principle of non-attachment, this workshop encourages you to release the need for external validation and find contentment in the here and now.

Join us for The Art of Stretching & Intuitive Yoga, a workshop that blends mindful stretching with intuitive yoga practice to deepen your mind-body connection. Led by Charles, a seasoned instructor, we begin by delving into the practical application of stretching techniques tailored to enhance each asana, helping you discover the optimal approach for flexibility, strength, and balance. You’ll explore stretching as a moving meditation, integrating Dharana (concentration) and Ahimsa (non-violence) to find balance between effort and grace. Move beyond overthinking to connect deeply with your body’s signals, using breathwork and visualization to foster self-awareness and inner calm. Inspired by the instinctual wisdom of animals, trust your inner teacher to navigate the dynamic interplay of effort and release. Suitable for all levels, no prior experience needed. Join us for Harmony in Breath: Yoga for Vitality and Joy, a rejuvenating workshop designed to awaken your vitality and cultivate joy through the transformative power of breath-centered yoga. This session blends mindful asana, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation to help you harness the full potential of your breath, enhancing both your physical practice and inner well-being.

We’ll begin by learning simple, natural breathing techniques, exploring how to engage all eight areas of your lungs in various combinations to support a breath-centered asana practice. Many practitioners unintentionally sacrifice breath when moving deeply into poses, developing habits that limit vitality. In this workshop, you’ll discover how to prioritize breath, using specific combinations to enhance each pose, from grounding postures to dynamic flows. This approach not only deepens your practice but also fosters a profound sense of ease and joy. Through guided asana and pranayama, you’ll experience the transformative difference a breath-focused practice makes, leaving you energized and connected.
